Artist's Comments
Ok, this piece actually started out as an experiment to see if I could improve on how I do hair. (I actually used Cataclysm-X's hair tutorial as a base reference. You can find it here: [link] ) But, it kind of took on a complete mind of it's own.
The character is from an Anime called "Karin". If you like cute romantic comedies I recommend it. Anju is a vampire. (If you couldn't guess from the pic.) She is the youngest member of her family, and probably the most powerful. I have a feeling she was loosely based off of Claudia from "Interview With a Vampire".
Done in graphite.
Range: 4H (First time I've gone that low.) to 5B
Edit: I darkened the shadows a bit in PS.
